The Philadelphia Police Department seeks information to help identify two suspects in a recent robbery. The crime occurred early in the morning on July 5. The victim reported being robbed at gunpoint around 5:30 AM at the 3200 block of Allegheny Avenue. The two male suspects, described as unknown black males, confronted the complainant as she was attempting to enter her car and fled the scene eastbound on Allegheny Avenue after the encounter. The authorities have provided a link to the surveillance video of the suspects, as per the Philadelphia Police Department.
Shortly after the initial incident, the suspects seemingly attempted to further victimize the individuals on the scene. They were seen driving into an alley south of Allegheny Avenue, close to where the robbery occurred, only to try to bring more items from the complainant quickly. They ultimately fled in a white Mercedes, last noted east through an alley towards 31st Street. The Philadelphia Police’s Northwest Detective Division urges anyone with information, no matter how small or seemingly insignificant, to come forward and assist in the apprehension of these individuals.
As the investigation continues, the police encourage witnesses or anyone with information to contact them. The department has assured confidentiality for those who wish to remain anonymous.
