The Pullen Arts Center in Raleigh has opened registration for a variety of upcoming workshops, offering opportunities for both youth and adults to develop creative skills.

According to the City of Raleigh, the Jewelry – Hollow Form Brooch Workshop, scheduled for September 13–14, will be taught by instructor Lauren Markley. The class costs $165–$180 depending on residency and requires prior completion of a Beginning Metals class. Participants will learn hollow construction and brooch mechanisms, with materials provided.

For children ages 8–12, the Youth Mixed Media – Paper Mache Animal Heads class begins September 18. The four-session workshop costs $120–$135 and will be led by Allison Coleman. No prior experience is required.

The Youth Painting – Watercolor World class, taught by Julia Einstein, will be held on September 9. The one-session workshop costs $45–$60 and focuses on watercolor techniques.

Teens interested in printmaking can join the Teen Printmaking – Screen Printing class, which runs for four weeks starting September 28. Instructor Jocelyn Steslicke will lead the workshop, priced at $165–$180.

Another teen option is the Teen Drawing – Haunted Houses Pen & Ink class, beginning September 20. The two-session workshop, taught by Kim Lomax, costs $60–$75 and focuses on sketching and inking haunted house scenes.
