Today’s forecast calls for a high near 89 degrees with a northeast breeze and a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m., which could cause minor flooding in areas with poor drainage. Rainfall amounts are expected to be less than a tenth of an inch, except in stronger storms, according to the National Weather Service.
Tonight, there is a 30% chance of thunderstorms before 8 p.m., with temperatures dropping to around 73 degrees. The National Weather Service reports no hazardous weather is expected at this time.
On Saturday, the forecast predicts mostly sunny skies with a high near 87 degrees and a slight chance of afternoon thunderstorms. Saturday night will be cooler, with a low of around 69 degrees. Sunday will be sunny with a high near 90 degrees.
Early next week is expected to be mostly clear until Thursday, when there is a 30% chance of showers. The National Weather Service notes that spotter activation is not expected at this time.
