San Diego County Sheriff's Department detectives ended a string of thefts involving high-tech gear last week, netting a significant haul of stolen goods from a residence on Stewart Canyon Road. The bust occurred yesterday, when the Fallbrook Area Detective Unit and the Crime Suppression Team served a search warrant at 757 Stewart Canyon Road, spurred by Detective Estes's investigations into stolen solar equipment and surveillance devices, according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.

In a thorough sweep of the premises, law enforcement recovered three solar panel lights, a game camera, and an additional solar panel, all of which were positively identified by the victim of a recent theft; however, the list of confiscated items didn't end there, deputies also found a loaded 9mm handgun, a loaded .40 caliber handgun, a high-capacity 30-round pistol magazine and potpourri of ammunition totaling over 1,000 rounds, and about one ounce of methamphetamine.

The operation resulted in five individuals being detained, including William Wallace, born on October 31, 1978, and Isabel Wallace, born on February 13, 1995, who, along with their child and two other adults, were present at the scene. The subsequent arrests of William and Isabel Wallace on multiple felony counts, including possession of stolen property, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of loaded firearms, were confirmed as both were booked into the Vista Detention Facility.
