The Hot Bike Summer Passport serves as a free pass to check out the freshest bike paths cropping up in the cityscape, like the new two-way protected bike lanes on Alaskan Way which stitch together a long stretch of safe cycling space for enthusiasts and commuters alike, aiming to promote a more secure and progressive system of transportation this celebration aligns with new connections in South Seattle, which promises to inject new life and motion into the city's circulatory streets, according to details by SDOT. To qualify for the final prize drawing, cycle-lovers will need to get at least three event decals, but the catch is the first 10 riders to hit that number score a $25 BikeLink card good for secure bike parking across Seattle's regions.
Cyclists can join the first major outing for the Hot Bike Summer by pedaling down to Pier 66 Plaza on Alaskan Way, between Bell and Blanchard streets, come today at 11 AM, as mentioned in the SDOT blog.
