St. Johns County has released the schedule of public hearings for proposed 2026 millage rates as part of the Truth In Millage Notice (TRIM) sent to property owners by the St. Johns County Property Appraiser. The notice provides information on local taxing authorities and how tax dollars may be used.
According to the St. Johns County website, the hearings will address millage rates for agencies such as the St. Johns County School District, Anastasia Mosquito Control District, and local municipalities. The first hearing is scheduled for Wednesday next week at 5:01 p.m. in the County Auditorium at 500 San Sebastian View.
Residents are encouraged to review their TRIM notice to understand the different taxing authorities and the services they support. Millage rate decisions will shape the Fiscal Year 2026 budget and determine how resources are allocated across the county.
