The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office announced that Special Operations Lieutenant Nicole Burrell graduated from the Florida Criminal Justice Executive Institute Senior Leadership Program. She completed the 10-month training as part of Class 27, the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office shared on Facebook.
The program equips law enforcement leaders with skills to strengthen their agencies and community relations. More than 30 law enforcement professionals graduated alongside Burrell.
The program is designed to prepare participants to manage change and develop leadership approaches within their departments. The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office did not specify what initiatives Lieutenant Burrell will take on following her training.
