In Southbridge, MA, a theft at a local garage led to the arrest of three juveniles for multiple vehicle-related offenses. An officer responded to the incident after the business owner reported a missing vehicle, which was left overnight for repairs. The initial investigation included reviewing security footage, revealing that at around midnight on Tuesday, three male subjects infiltrated the parking lot and broke into two vehicles, according to a social media post from the Southbridge Police Department.

Despite initially failing to start one vehicle, the suspects returned shortly and managed to quickly drive away with another. The police issued a BOLO alert with suspect descriptions enhanced by footage from nearby businesses. An officer later spotted an individual on Marcy Street who matched one of these descriptions and detained a 16-year-old male. Two other suspects were subsequently identified and implicated in the alleged crimes.

The Southbridge Police Department's post further stated that all three teenagers, hailing from Southbridge, were charged with larceny of a motor vehicle (joint venture), two counts of breaking and entering into a motor vehicle in the nighttime with intent to commit a felony (joint venture), and larceny under $1,200 (joint venture). The stolen vehicle was also recovered with the assistance of the Detective Division.

All suspects were booked in line with department policy. The minors, two aged 16 and one 15, now face the juvenile justice system as they grapple with the consequences of their alleged actions.
