
Early in the morning yesterday, a power outage affected more than 40 customers along Unicon Drive, Connector Drive, and Superior Drive in Wake Forest. Wake Forest Power began working to restore service, though the cause of the outage was not immediately known, and no estimated restoration time was provided.
According to the Town of Wake Forest release, customers were able to report outages and monitor updates through the company’s online outage map.
Later in the day, Wake Forest Power confirmed that service had been fully restored to the affected households and businesses.
