Kicking off the series is a presentation by Tamer Elnoury, "Making Radical Connections" on September 11 – an evocative start to a season that weaves through musical theatrics with "Marvelous Wonderettes," the enchanting voice of Jane Monheit in "Some Enchanted Evening," and a festive array of Celtic tunes with "Celtic Angels."
For those of you inclined to step back in time, the throwback vibes continue with "Shadows of the 60s," a tribute that's bound to get your Motown groove on. The Wake Forest Film Festival, which will be held from March 6-7, promises a weekend of cinematic exploration. And, the Renaissance Centre's offering are not just for adults, they've included a dramatization of “The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe” in December – perfect for the family holiday outing, as detailed by the Town of Wake Forest's release.
Tickets will hit the market next Tuesday at 10 a.m. according to the Town of Wake Forest's announcement.
