Philadelphia has been rocked by another case of gun violence following the discovery of a woman who was found shot to death in the Kensington neighborhood yesterday. According to 6abc, the Philadelphia Police Department responded to the scene after receiving reports of a shooting around 9:45 a.m. on the 2500 block of North Front Street. The victim, an adult female, was found in a backyard with a fatal gunshot wound to her neck.
Investigators are currently piecing together the circumstances of the shooting, and her identity has yet to be disclosed by authorities. In a disturbing yet increasingly familiar narrative within the city, no arrests have been made, and police have not specified any motives for the homicide.
