
The Wright County Sheriff’s Office has released its arrest report for the period ending August 25, 2025, documenting various offenses ranging from domestic assault to drug-related charges. The data reveals a range of criminal activities that have led to numerous arrests across different counties.
Among the incidents reported, on August 18, David Jacob Ables, 24, of Otsego, was taken into custody on charges of domestic assault along with Wright County warrants for terroristic threats and domestic assault, according to the county’s official website. Hailey Marol Nourse, 29, of Savage, faced arrest in Washington County on a Wright County warrant for financial card fraud. Noteworthy, incidents like driving after cancellation and violations of harassment/restraining orders and stalking were also among the reasons for arrests during the period.
The report detailed arrests for controlled substances, with Michael James Dalbec, 28, of Rockford, arrested in St Michael on a charge of 4th Degree Controlled Substance, while Geraldine Lynn Casey, 23, of Bemidji, faced apprehension in Cass County on a Wright County warrant for 5th Degree Controlled Substance. The prevalence of drug-related offenses seems to underline an ongoing concern for law enforcement.
Arrests on charges of driving while impaired (DWI) also made a large portion of the report. Ashley Lynn Jampsa, 26, of Monticello, was arrested on charges of 3rd Degree DWI and criminal vehicular operation. Moreover, repeat offenses such as driving after revocation emerged, seen in the case of Roman Ray Rodriguez, 63, of Monticello, who was arrested on Wright County warrants for driving after revocation and violation of a harassment/restraining order.
The report also included figures on traffic incidents within Wright County: 22 property damage accidents, 4 personal injury accidents, 7 hit and run accidents, and 3 car deer accidents. Traffic violations have not subsided, with arrests for 7 DWI, 5 underage consumption, and 127 miscellaneous traffic violations recorded this week alone, as per the sheriff’s office’s account.
