Yesterday morning, a brutal assault left one man critically injured at a Waikīkī bus stop. Responding to a report, officers arrived just before 5 a.m. at the intersection of Kūhiō Avenue and Paoakalani Avenue and discovered a 65-year-old male with severe head injuries, as reported by the Honolulu Police Department. Lying on a mattress, the man was found unresponsive and bleeding.
The victim, whose identity has not been disclosed, was treated at the scene and subsequently transported to a local hospital. Officials confirmed that currently, he remains in a state of critical condition. The Honolulu Police Department is actively investigating the incident and has called on the public to assist. Bleeding from his head, the male was found on a mattress at the bus stop.
