A man lost his life to a fatal stabbing in east Las Vegas, an incident that led to the arrest of his roommate, according to local authorities. Police were called to the 2400 block of Clifford Avenue near Eastern Avenue and Charleston Boulevard early yesterday morning, as reported by FOX5 Vegas. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department stated that when officers arrived, they discovered a man with critical stab injuries, who was subsequently pronounced dead at the scene.
Following the altercation that broke out prior to the assault the suspect, 39-year-old Christian Bryant was arrested and booked on charges of open murder with a deadly weapon, as detailed by News3LV. Bryant had fled the scene but was later apprehended by law enforcement officers. The identity of the victim has not been released, pending notification of next of kin and an official statement from the Clark County Coroner’s Office to determine the exact cause and manner of death.
