Scott Mahler has been appointed as the new Lincoln County Regional Airport Manager. Mahler has more than 40 years of experience in military and commercial aviation. His background includes positions with Pan Am, leading maintenance operations at Eastern Airlines, and serving as Vice President of an FAA 145 Repair Station, according to an announcement from Lincoln County.
County Manager Davin Madden said Mahler’s experience will support growth and service improvements at the airport. Assistant County Manager Clay Henley also noted Mahler’s addition to the team.
Mahler is relocating from Pennsylvania to be closer to his family in Troutman.
