Fort Collins is set to celebrate Workforce Development Month by holding a special open house event on September 24th aimed at strengthening the bond between local businesses and job seekers. The day-long affair, hosted at 200 W. Oak Street, Suite 5000, will feature networking opportunities, resume reviews, and a chance to discuss regional employment opportunities.
The morning session, scheduled from 8:00-10:00 am, is particularly tailored for businesses to directly engage with the economic development team, to share forthright their talent needs, and to learn about innovative workforce solutions. According to Larimer County, the event is an initiative "bringing employers and talent together to build our community's economic future!"
Larimer County's outreach extends beyond the corporate handshake into the individual stories of job seekers in the community. The afternoon session, which runs from 1:00 to 3:00 pm, will offer resume reviews and connect individuals to local services and employment opportunities.
