Missouri’s state government is making administrative updates, as Governor Mike Kehoe announces appointments to fill vacant county positions. Following the adjournment of the 103rd General Assembly, the governor’s office confirmed two new appointments. According to the Governor's office, Christopher Kendall has been named Platte County Treasurer, and Michael Wulff has been appointed as Putnam County Prosecuting Attorney.

Kendall assumes the position with prior experience, having served as interim Platte County Treasurer. He also serves as the pastor of Salem Christian Church and has worked in financial roles at International Charolais Associates and Paladin, LLC. In addition, he has occasionally worked as a substitute teacher. Kendall holds academic degrees from the University of Missouri–Kansas City and a master's degree in ministry from Colorado Theological Seminary.

Wulff has been appointed as the prosecuting attorney for Putnam County. He previously served in the same role in Harrison County and also operates his own law firm in the private sector. Wulff holds a degree in political science from the University of Missouri and earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law.

Following the conclusion of the Senate’s Second Extraordinary Session, the governor’s office outlined plans to address remaining interim appointments. According to the announcement, Governor Kehoe intends to move forward with reappointments next week to fill positions left unconfirmed.
