Residents of the Kuhio Park Terrace area have once again found themselves amidst a troubling spike in gun violence, with Honolulu police investigating the second shooting incident in less than a week.
This pattern of violence at Kuhio Park Terrace drew immediate attention last Sunday night when an anonymous 911 caller reported hearing multiple gunshots. According to KITV, the incident occurred around 10:05 p.m., fortunately resulting in no physical injuries to residents.
The Honolulu Police Department confirmed that the gunfire did not pass harmlessly into the night; two vehicles and a school library were damaged in Sunday's incident. Despite the clear evidence of criminal activity, no suspects have been taken into custody. Police are also actively hunting for individuals connected to a shooting that transpired last Wednesday at the Kuhio Park Terrace Towers, as reported by Hawaii News Now.
