There is a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms on Sunday afternoon. Early-week evenings will be mostly clear with lows in the mid-70s. By Thursday, there is a slight chance of rain, and temperatures may reach near 94 degrees.
Meteorologists are tracking a wave of thunderstorms off Africa’s west coast. Click2Houston said, "There’s a potential for a tropical depression by mid-next week." Residents are advised to follow local hurricane preparedness resources. KPRC 2 is also asking people to share weather photos and videos from Houston.
