Huntersville Fire Department units responded to a vehicle crash on Interstate 77 just before 3 p.m. yesterday. A car had rolled over into the woods, and one person was reportedly ejected from the vehicle. According to the Huntersville Fire Department's Facebook post, emergency responders worked at the scene for about 25 minutes, and MEDIC transported two patients to the hospital.
Responding units included Engine 11, Rescue 11, Rescue 1, Car 3, Long Creek Fire Department, and MEDIC. The crash occurred north of Hambright Road. Details about the condition of the patients were not released.
The cause of the accident has not been disclosed as the investigation continues
