
In a brief but reassuring update, the Clay County Sheriff’s Office in Florida announced that missing juvenile Bindy Binderim has been found safe and reunited with her family. The news was shared on the Clay County Sheriff’s Office’s official Facebook page with a post stating, “Great news! Bindy has been located, safe and sound! She has been returned to her family! ”
Bindy, who was last seen near Parkside Drive in Orange Park on the morning of September 15, captured the community's concern for the nearly 10-day period she was missing. Standing 5'4" and weighing 125 pounds, the 15-year-old with brown hair and brown eyes was distinctive with her nose ring—a detail that was hoped to assist in her identification. The appeal to find Bindy had urged the community to actively engage, to assist in bringing her home.
The case, logged under number 2025-021201 by the Clay County Sheriff's Office, had been a concentrated effort by local law enforcement. Additionally, the public was encouraged to use the SaferWatch app to submit tips, which was underscored with the potential of a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest or case advancement. "If you have any information about this case or know where Bindy Binderim might be, please submit a tip through the SaferWatch app," the original message from the Sheriff's office read.
Residents who followed the story were able to breathe a collective sigh of relief upon hearing that the young girl was returned to her family without incident. The details of Bindy's disappearance and the means through which she was found have yet to be disclosed by the authorities. Detective S.
