
Following the tragic incident that took place in Mount Washington, police have now identified the three individuals who lost their lives. The victims of Sunday afternoon's shooting were named as 27-year-old Bemnet Deresse and sisters Eden Adugna, 22, and Feven Adugna, 20, according to details released by the local authorities and reported by WCPO.
Lt. Jonathan Cunningham described the distressing scene where law enforcement discovered four individuals with gunshot wounds at a residence on Beacon Street, shortly after 1:30 p.m. The officers found victims both inside and outside of the residence. The information about the location of the gunshot victims was provided by WCPO.
The aftermath of the violence was also felt deeply at Good Samaritan Hospital, where both Eden and Feven Adugna were employed. The hospital conveyed its condolences and remarked on the impact the sisters had on their community. "The TriHealth family is devastated by the tragic passing of two cherished Good Samaritan Hospital team members. Their dedication and spirit touched everyone who worked alongside them," read a statement from the hospital obtained by LOCAL12. The hospital also emphasized ongoing support for the staff affected by this event.
In his remarks following the incident, Lt. Cunningham described the extensive impact of the shooting, saying, "Truly, a tragedy today. The pain is very widespread, being felt by those involved — by our officers, by our residential community here. It's very sad." These comments were relayed by WLWT. Meanwhile, the alleged shooter responsible for this tragic incident remains hospitalized, and thus far, subsequent reports provide no additional updates on their condition or identity.
