North Las Vegas is on the lookout for a shooter after a frightening incident last week, police, intensifying their call for public assistance, have released images of the suspected vehicle involved in the seemingly haphazard violence. The North Las Vegas police responded to reports of gunfire on the 3100 block of East Tropical Parkway near Tropical Parkway and Statz Street, last Friday just before 3 p.m., upon arrival they discovered one individual wounded by gunshot, subsequently rushed to the hospital with injuries thankfully deemed non-life-threatening, as reported by FOX5 Vegas.
The search for the suspect intensifies as the North Las Vegas Police Department reiterates its call to the community, with detectives certain that the attack was not targeted but random—a chilling reminder of the unpredictability of urban violence. The involved suspect vehicle, a white Lexus NX thought to be from model years 2017 through 2021, was gone before police could apprehend the driver or any passengers, according to details shared by News3LV.
In a bid to harness community insight, the authorities have publicly requested that anyone with knowledge of the vehicle or its occupants come forward, suggesting that such small pieces of information could lead to the larger truth of the matter. The North Las Vegas police can be contacted at 702-633-9111, and if anonymity is preferred, Crime Stoppers is available at 702-385-5555 or via their website for those who wish to share information without being identified.
