The unsettled weather pattern is forecasted to persist through the week with Wednesday having a slight chance of showers in the afternoon and a 70% possibility of precipitation the following night, this might bring new rainfall amounts between a tenth and a quarter of an inch, with thunderstorms potentially driving those numbers higher. A similar pattern is expected for Thursday, with the chance of precipitation at 70% and new rainfall possibly between a quarter and a half of an inch, while showers and a possible thunderstorm before 2 a.m. could bring additional rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch by night.
The forecast for Friday continues with a 50% chance of showers and mostly cloudy skies, while temperatures are expected to dip slightly. Residents can anticipate highs near 77 degrees during the day and lows around 64 at night. The chance of precipitation drops overnight to 40%, ahead of another potentially showery weekend.
As for the weekend, the prediction is mostly cloudy with a 40% chance of showers on Saturday and a slight decrease in likelihood to 30% come Saturday night before midnight, after which the clouds are expected to recede, bringing a mostly sunny Sunday with highs nearly hitting 80. Looking further ahead, the NWS Philadelphia anticipates partly cloudy conditions Sunday night with lows around 59, followed by another mostly sunny day on Monday with highs reaching up to 77 degrees signaling that drier weather might be on the horizon.
