As of today, the NWS reports partly cloudy skies with a high of 86 degrees forecasted for today, and a light southwest wind picking up in the morning. Meanwhile, the evening is expected to bring mostly clear skies, with a low around 71 degrees and a continuation of the south wind at around 5 mph.
The NWS advisory, highlights, a forecast that suggests a shift in weather patterns for Saturday, as there is an 80% chance of showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 2pm, accompanied by patchy fog in the early morning hours. Rainfall may range from a tenth to a quarter of an inch, but higher amounts could occur in thunderstorms.
Looking ahead to Saturday night, the NWS anticipates that showers and possibly a thunderstorm will take place before 11pm. This will be followed by a chance of more showers and thunderstorms between 11pm and 2am, with showers possibly continuing after 2am. Temperatures are expected to drop to a low around 63, with new rainfall potentially reaching between a half and three quarters of an inch.
For Sunday, there's a 20% chance of showers before 2pm following which, the skies are predicted to clear up to partly sunny, with a peak temperature near 73 degrees. The evening should see mostly clear conditions, with a comfortable low around 56.
As the week progresses, the forecast by NWS Philadelphia suggests a consistent run of pleasant weather beginning Monday, with sunny days and mostly clear nights through at least Thursday. Daily highs are expected to remain in the mid-70s, offering comfortable weather for any outdoor activities planned within the region.
