Tonight the chances for precipitation are modest, tapering off with a 20% chance of rain before 1 am and clouds making way for clearer skies as temperatures drop to around 74 degrees. The NWS details that while today may be dampened by sporadic rains, the residents should prepare for a dry, and hot week ahead. The start of the week will be mostly sunny with highs scaling up to 91 degrees tomorrow.
As we move into the midweek, Tuesday will continue the trend with clear sunny skies and a high rising to 94 degrees. The following nights will maintain mild conditions, dropping to around 70 degrees with calm southeastern winds. The forecast, outlined by the National Weather Service, projects Wednesday to push the mercury further, with temperatures peaking at about 96 degrees under uninterrupted sunshine.
The heatwave will intensify by Thursday; hitting a near 97-degree high as the north wind shifts east in the afternoon. San Antonio's weather pattern appears consistent into the weekend, with the NWS predicting similar highs of 96 degrees for both Friday and Saturday, accompanied by mostly clear nights with lows lingering in the low 70s.
