
In the wake of a residential burglary involving tens of thousands of dollars in stolen tools, the San Jose Police Department's Western Division has made a notable breakthrough by arresting four individuals connected to the crime. According to a social media post from the San Jose Police Department, the officers responded to a report of an attempted vehicle theft and burglary in west San José last Thursday. They managed to track down the suspected vehicle to a South San Jose residence utilizing Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) data, resulting in the apprehension of one individual believed to be a primary suspect.

During the subsequent residence search, authorities found a stash of goods exceeding $50,000, primarily comprising tools linked to similar burglary cases across the city. Leaping into action, they cracked the case and returned the stolen goods to the owners, affirming the community's trust in them. As lauded by the San Jose Police, the collective efforts of the officers led to the arrest of four suspects connected to this wide-reaching theft operation. The items originally reported stolen were successfully identified and returned to the relieved owner.
Police officials took this opportunity to remind the public of the importance of keeping detailed records of their valuables. "Always keep a record of serial numbers and report stolen property to police," the San Jose Police Department advised.
