As designed by Future Friends, a local design and branding company, the mobile libraries are now adorned with oversized books, playful designs, and graphics that leap out at you, almost like they're demanding attention. The St. Johns County Public Library System, according to a video produced by the Office of Public Affairs, has undergone this update as a part of their ongoing effort to be recognized not as a remote library service but as a full-on rolling extension of their vibrant community libraries.
According to the SJCPLS announcement, the wrapping process was undertaken by Sundown Wraps. They used durable materials and finishes, critical for ensuring the bookmobiles retain their new, spirited appearance for the long haul. The revamped design aims to spark imagination among residents of all ages and pull them into the fold of readers and learners that the SJCPLS supports.
