The Broadmoor Police Department has successfully apprehended a suspect linked to a costly vandalism spree at Ben Franklin School, originally reported last Monday. The school sustained extensive damage, with multiple broken windows estimated to cost around $60,000 for repairs. According to a post by the department, the timely investigation leveraged campus surveillance footage to pinpoint the individual responsible for the destruction.
Law enforcement personnel tied the suspect to the Ben Franklin School incident through collaborative investigative efforts. It connected him to additional cases of vandalism handled by the Daly City Police Department. The suspect's reach wasn't limited to one jurisdiction, and it took inter-agency cooperation to narrow in on the pattern of destruction he left in his wake. The arrest occurred last Friday, culminating in charges of felony vandalism and the subsequent booking at San Mateo County Jail, where the suspect now awaits further legal proceedings.
"This arrest highlights the excellent teamwork and dedication of all officers involved. Job well done," reflects the Broadmoor Police Department in their statement.
