
Washington State Ferries, the largest ferry system in the U.S., will hold two virtual community meetings on October 2 at 12:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. Residents can provide input, and the meetings will review the increase in ferry services during the summer, the system’s busiest season since 2019, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
Washington State Ferries will hold online meetings via Zoom to discuss summer traffic, ferry electrification plans, terminal construction, and workforce development initiatives. Registration is required to participate and ask questions. Video recordings will be available on WSF’s community participation webpage for those who cannot attend live, as reported by the Washington State Department of Transportation.
Washington State Ferries provides resources for free temporary internet access and a state drive-in WiFi hotspot finder for those without broadband. Residents can sign up for rider alerts or use the online real-time map to track ferries and check their locations, as stated by the Washington State Department of Transportation.
