Lifeguards in Atlantic Beach have issued a warning advising the public to stay out of the water due to dangerous ocean conditions. The notice, released at 11 a.m. yesterday, stated that no water activity is allowed until conditions improve.
According to the City of Atlantic Beach, beachgoers are urged to call 911 in case of emergencies. For updates or questions about the advisory, the Atlantic Beach Police Department can be contacted at (904) 247-5804.
The advisory will remain in effect until authorities determine it is safe to return to the water.
