Perry's Last Stand, a popular ice cream parlor in Wareham, is closing its brick-and-mortar location after 15 years. According to the Perry's Last Stand's Facebook page, the closure is due to the landlord, Bob Perry, choosing not to renew the lease.

The shop, known for over 70 hard-serve flavors, soft serve options, homemade snow cones, and being the only drive-thru ice cream store in the area, will continue operations through its ice cream trucks. Gift certificates purchased at the storefront will still be honored.

MassLive reported that Perry's Last Stand, originally founded in 1992 by owner Jim Winterbottom’s mother, also offered sandwiches, pizzas, burgers, and seafood. The flagship location was at 2704 Cranberry Highway. The trucks are expected to return in the spring.
