A narcotics search warrant executed by the Campbell County Sheriff's Office (CCSO) last Friday has led to the seizure of an arsenal of weapons and an undisclosed sum of money, as well as multiple drug-related arrests. In a social media post from the sheriff's office, Sheriff Barton acknowledged the efforts of the CCSO members for their role in the operation's success.

The search warrant was a culmination of undercover operations and citizen complaints, leading investigators to descend upon 728 Wooldridge Lane in Jellico, Tennessee. The raid was effective in not only removing illegal substances from the community but also in the confiscation of 39 firearms. The CCSO has yet to publicly disclose the cash amount seized during the operation. Sheriff Barton stated, "The successful execution of a narcotics search warrant," as an effort to gradually dismantle the local drug trade.

Three individuals find themselves facing numerous charges in the wake of the raid. Their charges span from maintaining a drug house and possession of drug paraphernalia to various degrees of narcotics possession and distribution. Matthew Cobb, 57, of Clairfield, is among the accused. His criminal charges include 'Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Felony)', 'Possession/Manufacture/Sell/Delivery of Schedule VI over ½ oz', and 'Possession of a Firearm in the Commission of a Dangerous Felony', among several others.
