Commerce City has brought on a seasoned professional, Nathan “Nate” Byford, as the new Director of Human Resources, leveraging his two decades of industry experience. With a background spanning executive roles in nonprofit and higher education sectors, Byford's appointment is expected to bring fresh leadership and strategy to the city's human resources agenda.
City Manager Jason Rogers, speaking of the appointment, indicated that Byford’s people-first mindset and track record of collaborative work will bolster the city's quest for excellence. Having previously served as a vice president of people operations, Byford is versed in handling large-scale, complex initiatives aimed at organizational development.
As per City of Commerce City, “Nate’s leadership will play a key role in advancing our organizational development goals, supporting employee engagement, and ensuring we remain aligned with the expectations of our community and Council,” declared Jason Rogers.
