Coweta County homeowners are receiving property tax bills for 2025, which are due by December 1, 2025. Tax Commissioner Justin McMichael stated that bills are sent to the legal owner of record as of January 1, though efforts are made to include current owners, according to Coweta County News.

The taxes cover county services in areas including Newnan, Senoia, and Grantville. Homeowners who do not receive a bill by mid-October can access it online through the Tax Commissioner’s Office website. Properties still listed under previous owners reflect the January 1 ownership cut-off.

This year’s bills include new Special Service District line items detailing Countywide 911, EMS, and Parks & Recreation costs. Homeowners with escrow accounts should forward tax bill stubs to their mortgage companies to avoid delinquency.

Payments can be made by cash, check, card, or e-check. Electronic payments incur fees: 3% for American Express, 2.5% for other major cards, and $1.50 for e-checks. Payments by phone are also available at 770-589-1550 with the bill number.

For contested property assessments, a temporary tax bill is calculated at 85% of the proposed value, with final outcomes determining any refunds or additional taxes due. The Tax Commissioner’s Office at 87 Newnan Station Drive offers in-person services, a drive-thru, and an after-hours drop box.
