In an effort to shine a light on the pervasive issue of domestic violence and provide tangible resources to those affected, the City of Dallas is stepping up. With the inaugural Domestic Violence Awareness Month Resource Fair, the city aims to connect individuals and families with the tools and support they need to overcome the impact of abuse. Nearly a dozen organizations will be offering their support at this crucial event, per the City of Dallas.
The event, bolstered by the support of influential local entities such as Medical City Healthcare and the Midtown Improvement District, will also include in-kind contributions from a range of sponsors. Participants can expect involvement from the Dallas Arboretum, Dallas Chamber Symphony, and Mary Kay Cosmetics, among others. These organizations join hands, showing a unified front in the fight against domestic violence.
Set to take place at the Dallas City Hall Plaza and Lobby, located at 1500 Marilla St., the event welcomes Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Gay Donnell Willis of District 13 to host the affair. Scheduled for Wednesday, October 29, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., it promises to be both an informative and empowering gathering for those seeking help and information.
