The 2025 Florida International Airshow will include the Innovator’s STEM Pavilion along with its air shows. The pavilion focuses on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math and offers hands-on activities for visitors, especially children. Charlotte County says the STEM pavilion, sponsored by the Charlotte Community Foundation, will be open on November 1 and 2 from 9 a.m. to noon.
According to Charlotte County, the pavilion will showcase a variety of technology and educational projects. Visitors can explore virtual reality, drones, professional audio and video systems, and agricultural robotics. There will also be displays explaining airplane structures and riveting. Sponsors and participants include a mix of schools, local organizations, and industry partners such as Charlotte Technical College, CareerSource, and NAS MRO.
The lineup includes individuals and groups focused on hands-on discovery. Notable participants include Women in Aviation, Fly Bright, ATCFO, and Aviation Start, all active in promoting aviation and STEM. The pavilion emphasizes interactive activities and direct engagement to help make STEM fields more accessible and encourage future exploration.
Local middle schools are working alongside industry partners such as Stuck Mic Avcast and Tradesman Place, while Charlotte County Public Works is integrating these technologies into the community. Visitors are encouraged to attend and experience both the airshow and the hands-on opportunities that showcase STEM and technology.
