
Franklin High School is extending an invitation to the community to attend their Program Night set for Monday, Oct. 27, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. As reported by El Paso ISD, this event promises prospective students and their families an opportunity to immerse in the Cougar spirit while exploring the school's wide range of programs.
The night is designed to showcase Franklin High School's commitment to preparing students for the rigors of college, careers, and beyond. "Our mission is simple yet powerful — to do what is right for students every day," a school spokesperson shared, as per El Paso ISD. Nestled against the backdrop of the Franklin Mountains, the school has been serving the Westside community since its inception in 1993, boasting a proud tradition of academic rigor, athletic prowess, and communal pride.
Principal Amanda Bowser brings over two decades of experience to the helm of Franklin High. As quoted by El Paso ISD, she has witnessed "the heart, spirit, and determination that define our students and staff." Under her leadership, Franklin High has continued to nurture students with integrity, compassion, and purpose through a host of advanced academic programs, robust extracurricular activities, and a commitment to community service.
