In these creative performances, children learned about safe charging habits, the significance of smoke detectors, and the ins and outs of E.D.I.T.H. (Exit Drills In The Home)—critical lessons aimed to resonate long after the laughter subsides. The LAFS team, boasting nearly two decades worth of experience, took home the title of Fire Educator of the Year back in 2014, courtesy of the Tennessee State Fire Marshal’s Office. This is but a glimpse into their track record of theatrical spectacles that marry fun with function, with past renditions drawing inspiration from Toy Story, Mario Bros., and Ghostbusters, among others.
