Mark your calendars for March 24, 2026, when H2Oklahoma returns to Ruby Grant Park in Norman for a special water education event from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. This free program, aimed at fourth graders, offers hands-on activities focused on water history, conservation, and the importance of H2O, and has been inspiring young minds since 1995, according to the City of Norman.
The event is hosted by the City of Norman in partnership with the Cleveland Conservation District and the Oklahoma Water Resources Board. Parents and educators must register by December 1, to secure a spot for their students in this engaging and educational experience.
Michele Loudenback from the City of Norman said on Norman’s website that "H2Oklahoma inspires students to see the wonder in the world around them." The program is an all-day outdoor event for fourth graders, including homeschoolers, featuring educational games, water cycle demonstrations, and macroinvertebrate modeling. Students participate with other children and learn about water conservation and related careers.
