The Lewisville Public Library, located at 1197 W. Main Street, is inviting residents to a slate of activities that includes an educational Medicare Info Session and family-friendly Fall Festival, as well as a thrilling adults-only game night with "Blood on the Clocktower." Operating hours for the library are Monday to Thursday from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m., and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. The library is closed on Sundays.
As part of the library's forthcoming events, a Medicare Info Session scheduled for today, from 10-11 a.m. in the Crawford Meeting Room, will be available to assist those new to Medicare. According to the City of Lewisville, seniors can learn about Medicare parts A, B, C, and D without the necessity of registration. A local insurance agent will be facilitating the session, which is strictly informative with no sales pitches or obligations attached.
The Fall Festival, pitched as an indoor mini carnival, invites families with children of all ages to the Bennett Children's Wing on Thursday, Oct. 30, from 6-7 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to wear costumes to this drop-in event, which won't require any tickets or prior registration. It aims to provide a safe and festive atmosphere for families in the community to enjoy.
Simultaneously on Oct. 30 from 6-8 p.m., "Blood on the Clocktower," a game of wits and deception, will be waged in the Glenmore Savage Community Room. Participants deal with the nefarious presence of a demon tucked away among the villagers and must figure out who to trust, as everyone is assigned secret roles on the sides of Good or Evil.
