If you're grappling with the labyrinth of buckles and straps that is a child safety seat or just uncertain if your little one is securely snugged in the correct size, the Lewisville Police Department is stepping up to lend a hand. They recently announced a series of free Child Safety Seat Clinics aimed at assisting parents and guardians to ensure their children's car seats are properly installed.
Starting this month, on the last Monday, with the first clinic scheduled for October 27, these clinics will not only offer installations but also feature certified technicians ready to thoroughly review your child's safety seat and to enthusiastically answer any and all questions you might have. The service is designed to easily help local community members, with no restrictions against folks who might not live or work in Lewisville.
This community initiative comes with the need to pre-register for an appointment, a small step to ensure everyone gets the assistance they require. For those interested, an appointment can be made by calling 972.219.3668. Don't forget to haul your car seat down to The Tittle McFadden Public Safety Building, located at 1187 W. Main St. The Lewisville Police Department shared this news with the intention to promote not just safety but peace of mind for families on the road.
