
The Maui Police Department has issued a public plea for help in locating a missing juvenile, identified as 15-year-old Maile Vinge. According to the department's social media post, Vinge was last seen on the morning of Wednesday, around 7:45 a.m. near 121 Kula Highway in Pukalani.
Authorities have provided a physical description of the missing teenager, noting that she is Caucasian, stands at 5-foot-4, weighs approximately 115 pounds, and has brown hair and eyes. At the time of her disappearance, she was dressed in a white t-shirt, blue jeans, and was carrying a black backpack. The Maui Police Department’s non-emergency number, 808-244-6400, has been made available for anyone to urgently call with information on Maile's whereabouts, encouraging the community to come together to assist in the search.
The Maui Police Department has not yet publicly speculated on the circumstances surrounding Maile Vinge's disappearance. However, they continue to actively encourage the public to cautiously look out for Maile, and to report any potential leads.
