A serious traffic incident occurred in Downtown Honolulu earlier this week, where a moped rider was injured after a collision with a delivery truck. The accident, as reported by KITV, took place near the intersection of Ala Moana Boulevard and Punchbowl Street, close to the area of Honolulu Harbor, just after 1 p.m. last Saturday.
Paramedics responded to the scene, where they found a 35-year-old man who had suffered injuries due to the crash. According to details obtained by Hawaii News Now, the man was operating the moped and was not wearing a helmet at the time, they administered advanced life support to him. He was subsequently transported to the hospital in serious condition.
