According to News3LV, at approximately 10:22 p.m., a confrontation between a motorcycle and a truck at the intersection of Frank Sinatra Drive and Reno Avenue marked the 131st traffic-related fatality in the jurisdiction of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) for the year 2025.
The victim, a 20-year-old motorcyclist, was riding a 2016 Suzuki GSX-R 750 heading north when the accident occurred. A 2021 Toyota Tacoma truck making a left turn onto Reno Avenue collided with the motorcycle in the rightmost lane. The LVMPD reported that despite the timely arrival of emergency Medical Services and attempts at life-saving measures, the rider was pronounced dead on the scene. The driver of a pickup truck remained at the scene and cooperated fully, showing no signs of impairment, as reported by News3LV.
