The Philadelphia Police Department is reaching out to the community in search of a young boy who has gone missing since earlier this month. Miguel Morales, a 14-year-old boy, was last seen at his home on the 19XX block of North 6th Street on October 2, 2025, at around 8:17 p.m., according to a recent public appeal for assistance.
Miguel is described as being small in stature, at 5 feet 3 inches tall and 120 pounds, with brown eyes and sporting a unique hairstyle of mid-length unloc twists. Wearing a distinctive red hoodie adorned with white flowers, black pants, black sneakers, and carrying his belongings in a gray duffle bag, Miguel was last observed, the Police Department says. His disappearance has caused concern within the community, and a concerted effort is now underway to locate the young boy.
In an effort to spread the word and enlist the public's help, authorities have described Miguel’s apparel, which included a red hoodie featuring white flowers, alongside black pants and sneakers. The gray duffel bag he carried is believed to contain clothing, which may aid in identifying him. Residents are being encouraged to keep an eye out and report any sightings to the East Detectives by dialing 215-686-3243 or to contact the police immediately by calling 911.
