The Philadelphia Police Department is urgently calling on the public to aid in the search for a missing juvenile, Korinthia Winston, as reported on their news bulletin. Twelve-year-old Korinthia was last seen over a month ago on the morning of September 24, 2020, in the vicinity of the 43xx block of Devereaux Street. Described as around 5'8" tall, weighing 126 lbs, with brown braided hair and brown eyes, the young girl's absence continues to be a pressing concern, as per the Philadelphia Police Department.
Known to frequent the 6100 block of Edmund Street, Korinthia's described appearance on the day of her disappearance included black pants and a red shirt. While sightings remain unreported, her known habituations provide some frame of reference for where she may have been heading or could potentially return to, the community along Devereaux Street keeps searching, hoping for a sign.
The details surrounding Korinthia's disappearance are sparse, and it is unclear if any new leads have surfaced since she was reported missing. The Northeast Detective Division has been spearheading the investigation and they hope that fresh information from the public might shed light on her current whereabouts.
Philadelphians are being reached out by the police department with a plea to anyone with information about Korinthia Winston to come forward. The authorities stress that any piece of information could prove critical in the search for Korinthia, no matter how insignificant it may seem. Those with information that could assist in this ongoing search are encouraged to contact the Northeast Detective Division at 215-686-3153.
