A contractor at the Palisades Nuclear Plant in Covert, Michigan, fell into the reactor cavity, sustaining minor injuries and some exposure to reactor water. "Radiological assessments are ongoing and are expected to confirm exposure well below regulatory and administrative dose limits," Holtec International said. The worker has returned to work. The incident occurred while the plant, which restarted operations in August, is loading new fuel assemblies. Holtec has not said when the plant will be fully operational.
