The incident occurred near mile marker 11 on the old highway between Reno and Carson City at about 9 a.m. The Nevada Highway Patrol Northern Command Major Incident Reconstruction Team is currently investigating and has yet to release additional information or possible charges against the Subaru driver as of now. This crash contributes to a grim tally for the year, with the Nevada Highway Patrol Northern Command having investigated 29 crashes resulting in 33 deaths to date.
