The City of Snellville has introduced new branding for the Snellville Entertainment District (SED) and updated rules allowing limited outdoor alcohol consumption. According to a City of Snellville release, visitors can now carry alcoholic beverages purchased from licensed businesses while walking within The Grove at Towne Center and select areas of downtown.
The SED, part of a $100 million development by Casto, MidCity, and the City of Snellville Downtown Development Authority, features attractions such as Crooked Can Brewery and the upcoming Parkside District location. Drinks must be in specially marked containers with the SED logo to identify beverages permitted in public areas. New restaurants including The Grove Taqueria and Dumpling Master are also expected to open soon.
The SED logo reflects design elements from The Grove, including the pavilion and its surrounding green space, symbolizing Snellville’s community spirit. Clear signage will outline the designated areas where outdoor alcohol consumption is allowed. The City of Snellville stated that the district aims to create a welcoming environment that supports local businesses while maintaining clear boundaries and safety standards.
